The VELES story

A boutique lodge and restaurant in Vareš, made for people who want to stay a while and see what's around them.

VELES started with a simple idea: that a stay in the mountains should be more than a place to sleep. It should come with a good table, quiet rooms and someone to tell you where to walk tomorrow.

We chose Vareš for its forests, its history and its people — a mountain town in the heart of Bosnia that most travellers haven't discovered yet.

Fourteen rooms, three apartments and a restaurant: small enough to know our guests, big enough to look after them well.
