Zvijezda is the mountain range that rises above Vareš. The walk climbs through beech forest to open meadows along the ridge.
On a clear day you can see across the hills of central Bosnia. Bring a packed lunch from the restaurant and take your time.
Route
Drive or taxi to the trailhead, then follow the marked path through the forest to the ridge and return the same way.
